Q1) Tell us a little bit about your start-up and your journey, please;

I am Krishna Parulekar, founder of MBM Global and co-founder (CCO) for LoveActuallyMe. I started MBM global an auditing company 4 years back where I help big societies with their operational, audit and legal services. I hold 21 societies up to now and proudly call myself a sole fighter who with the help of my father gained from 3 to 22 in span of short time.

As for LoveActuallyMe, LoveActuallyMe is an initiative for PWD (People with disabilities). It is online and offline initiative where we empower, enable and encourage the community to meet, greet and network with like minded Abled and Disabled. I am the co-founder and head the this community.

This project is very close to me as my best friend is my partner so I get to meet and work with her personally and professionally and working for PWD community is plus one because they are brilliant, super friendly and nontoxic people. I love seeing a smile on their faces and have made so many good friends again in short span of time.

Q2) How did the idea for your business/startup come about?

MBM Global, I started when I came back from Dubai where I was working for Landmark. My father needed my support as my Brother is working in Merchant Navy and As I always wanted to do of my own I took this opportunity, gave my exam and got certified to work as an auditor. I love my work because I get to meet people, work closely on the operations and help them with their taxes too. I am now successfully working my way up from 3 societies to 21 and growing with my hard work and determination.

As for LoveActuallyMe, this project is very close to me because I am working with my people and working for unspoken community making them socialize and meet new people outside their zone.

Q3) What was your key driving force to become an entrepreneur?

Right from college, I was a workaholic, I survived the hardest period with my family where money was an issue due to my Father’s sudden illness and we had all the responsibilities on my mother and my head.  This fighting zeal made me stronger and the experiences I went through kept me grounded.  (Frankly, I love running my own show so, starting something of my own was the best decision I ever made)

Q4) How did you come up with the name for your business/startup?

Hahaha, I was just talking to Tanushree (founder of LoveActuallyMe) 3 days back wondering how on earth I came up with MBM global. It does sound nice hahaha. But jokes apart the name is Multiple Business Management that’s globally spreaded so MBM Global

As for LoveActuallyMe, It was Tanu’s idea and I loved the name so went with the flow LoveActuallyMe.

Q14) What comes first for you money or emotions?

Emotions and money go hand in hand and I cannot decide one. I have a certain inner circle of people who include close friends and family where emotions come first but when at work these emotions are dead. I am an animal lover so where it comes to animals emotions come first to me.

My college life I was a girl who was different form the rest. (You can ask this from Tanushree) As I said, I had early responsibilities, so I had no time to make Friends and go out and enjoy. But, Now touchwood, being a successful entrepreneur, I am enjoying everything I missed being in college. Khao, Peeyo and Masst raho :p

Q16) What piece of advice would you give to college graduates who want to become entrepreneurs??

Study first, be smart and jump in… You can take risk but keep a backup..
